Michael S. Aronsohn, M.D.
Dr. Michael S. Aronsohn is the President and Chief of the Medical Staff at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. He is a graduate of the University of Florida, College of Medicine where he also completed his general surgical internship and Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery residency. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. Dr. Aronsohn’s extensive surgical experience has allowed him to participate in medical mission trips to the Philippines and Haiti providing help to those with little or no access to medical care. He currently sees patients at the Boca Raton Sinus & Allergy Center and also maintains privileges at Boca Raton Regional Hospital.
Dr. Aronsohn is married to his wife, Andrea, an elementary school teacher, and has a son and daughter. He also has 2 dogs, Lily, a golden retriever, and Phil, a rescue dog. In his spare time, he enjoys being with his family and rooting for his beloved Florida Gators.

Alexander M. Gorup, M.D.
Dr. Alexander M. Gorup received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Columbia University and his Doctorate of Medicine from the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed his Surgical and Otolaryngology residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident during his final year. He has held several academic appointments, including Clinical Instructor at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, and Adjunct Professor of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences at the Purdue University College of Health and Human Sciences. Dr. Gorup is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. He currently sees patients at the Boca Raton Sinus & Allergy Center, and also maintains privileges at Boca Raton Regional Hospital.
Dr. Gorup is married to his wife Melissa and has two children. He enjoys travel, youth sports, tennis, fishing and aviation.

Ari I. Wirtschafter, M.D.
Dr. Ari I. Wirtschafter serves as the Chief of Surgery and as the Director of Pediatric Surgery at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. He is double board certified in Otolaryngology- Head & Neck Surgery and in Sleep Medicine. Dr. Wirtschafter was named Otolaryngologist of the Year for the State of Florida in 2011 and was also the past President of the Florida Society of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. He graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Wirtschafter completed medical school at Jefferson Medical College and his general surgery internship at Lankenau Hospital in Philadelphia before completing a residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. He currently sees patients at the Boca Raton Sinus & Allergy Center and maintains privileges at Boca Raton Regional Hospital and Delray Hospital.
Dr. Wirtschafter is married to his wife, Shoshana, an internist, and is the proud father of four children (3 girls and one boy). He has a golden-doodle named Rocky. In addition to enjoying spending time with his family, he enjoys college football, fitness, and holds a Black Belt in Shotokan Karate.
